KARMA (WITHOUT THE FEELING OF 'KARTRITVAM', BHOKTRITVAM, AND  DEHABHIMANAM') ,  SHALL CONTINUE  EVEN FOR THE 'REALIZED' .

WHAT   IS  NOT DESIRED IS KARTRITVAM , BHOKTRITVAM  AND DEHABHIMANAM.  "LIVING" (SENSE OF EXISTENCE - 'I AM')  CONTINUES,  WITHOUT THESE ATTACHMENTS, AND  DISSOLVES  IN "LIFE",  FOR  EVER  IN THE EVENT OF  'DEATH'.

SAKTHY,  MAHAMAYA, PRAKRITHY - ALL THE THREE, AND OTHER NAMES SUCH AS DURGA, LAKSHMY, SARASWATHY, INDICATE ONE AND THE SAME PRINCIPLE " I AM " ("LIVING"), THE FIRST SPROUT FROM "I-CONSCIOUSNESS - LIFE. 

MIND (I AM THE INDIVIDUAL) ,  WITH MULTIPLE AND APPARENTLY CONFLICTING CONCEPTS, IS AVIDYA MAYA.  PRIMAL IGNORANCE (I-AM) IS A HOMOGENOUS CONCEPT,  AND IS 'VIDYA MAYA.

CHIT SAKTHY IS "I AM" , AND JADA-SAKTHY IS MIND -( I AM THE INDIVIDUAL).

WHY ALL THESE EXPLANATIONS!  OCEAN IS "I - CONSCIOUSNESS" AND THE GENTLE WAVES - (APPARENT VIBRATION OF  OCEAN)  IS  " I AM"  .  OCEAN  AND WAVES  EXIST TOGETHER.

'NATURE' (ALL EVENTS  AS DESTINED),  AND 'CULTURE' (DEVELOPED  THROUGH 'DIVINE GRACE) CO-FUNCTION,  IN  EACH INDIVIDUAL.  THE FORMER  IS  SAMSKARAM, (PRARABDHAM),  AND THE LATTER IS SAMSKRITHY (DIVINE GRACE).  ' EVOLUTION' IN MAN CAN BE THOUGHT OF ONLY WITH THE ABOVE TWO CONCEPTS .

EQUANIMITY  OF VISION IS  WELL  EXPLAINED IN  B.GEETHA - CHAPTER 14 - SLOKA 24.    "PLEASURE/PAIIN (RELATING TO MIND),LIKES/DISLIKES (RELATING TO INTELLECT) , GOLD  /STONE,  (RELATING TO POSSESSIVENESS,) PRAISE/IGNOMINY RELATING TO EGO -ALL  TO BE VIEWED  WITH EQUANIMITY  (DESPITE CONFLICTING VALUE WITHIN EACH PAIR.

COMPASSION,' PREMAM'  AND  SACRIFICE  FLOW  SIMILAR TO GENTLE WAVES ON THE OCEAN OF PEACE.  ( 'I AM' FLOWS ON THE OCEAN OF PEACE ).

TO DISCIPLINE THESE URGES, AND TO LEAD RHYTHMIC 'LIVING', ''DHARMA (DIVINE GRACE)  IS A MUST.  RHYTHMIC LIVING REGULATING ARTHA AND KAMA, SHALL LEAD TO 'GNANAM', (WISDOM KNOWLEDGE),  AND  ULTIMATELY TO THE CONCEPT- LES  SOURCE.

'SMILE' AND 'SILENCE'  ARE HAPPINESS AND PEACE RESPECTIVELY.


MEDITATION IS SIMILAR TO DREAM -( HALF ASLEEP AND HALF WAKING)  FOR IT SERVES  THE  INDIVIDUAL TO ENTER EITHER INTO NIRVIKALPA (LIKE THE DEEP SLEEP) OR ENLIGHTENMENT WITH SELF-KNOWLEDGE (LIKE THE AWAKENED STAGE)

UNINTERRUPTED  GOD-THOUGHT SHALL CHANGE OUR SO CALLED DREAM  INTO  MEDITATION, AND TAKE US  EITHER TO 'PEACEFUL SILENCE' OR  TO 'HAPPY WAKEFULNESS'.

PEACE  AND  HAPPINESS ( SHANTY AND AANANDAM) ARE THE SWAROOPAM AND SWABHAVAM,  EXISTENCE AND SENSE OF EXISTENCE - " I ". AND  "I - AM" -  OF  THE ABSOLUTE  BRAHMAN.

DOER SHIP, ' ENJOYER SHIP',  AND POSSESSOR SHIP,  WHEN  REMOVED,  HALF THE EGO IS GONE,  AND WHEN ATTACHMENT TO BODY IS  REMOVED, EGO  DISAPPEARS  IN FULL.

RHYTHM, SATYAM AND PARAM REPRESENT RESPECTIVELY 'LIVING',  'LIFE', AND "ABSOLUTE". (ANALOGY:  WAVES, OCEAN AND WATER ) "I - AM",  " I " AND. 'ABSOLUTE', ALSO MEAN THE SAME.

KARMA YOGI, ALTHOUGH NOT CONSCIOUS OF DOER SHIP AND' ENJOYER- SHIP' (KARTHRITVAM AND BHOKTRITVAM),  IS STILL CONSCIOUS OF HIS PHYSICAL EXISTENCE ('I AM') - 'DEHABHODAM - SENSE OF EXISTENCE -AHAM -

AHAM BHODAM. (LIVING PRESENCE)  SHOULD CONSTANTLY REMEMBER  ITS  REALITY-"-SIVABHODAM" (LIFE-CONSCIOUSNESS);  "I AM" TO REMEMBER  "I - CONSCIOUSNESS".  THIS IS NOT MERE  'REMEMBRANCE';  THIS BHAVAM  SHOULD  BECOME ANUBHAVAM AND  ULTIMATELY  CONTEMPLATIVE AWARENESS.

ANUBOODHY IS 'CONTEMPLATIVE AWARENESS'.

DESPITE VARIOUS  BHAVAMS  AND EXPERIENCE,  IN THE 'LIVING DRAMA'  ONE SHOULD  EVER  BE  AWARE OF THE REALITY BEHIND  'LIVING''.

AS WE BECOME MORE AND MORE CONSCIOUS OF THE REALITY (LIFE) ,  OUR ATTENTION TO THE 'LIVING' SHALL BE LESSENED, AND ALL APPARENT CONFLICTS  COME TO AN END.

SO  LONG AS WE  LIVE WITH A SENSE OF EXISTENCE, WE  SHALL VIEW "ABSOLUTE",  IN THREE CATEGORIES -   ' CONVENTIONAL'  WITH MULTIPLE CONCEPTS;  ' 'EXISTENCE' (GOD PRINCIPLE),  AND "ABSOLUTE" (BRAHMAN).


POSITIVE EMOTIONS  -LIKE  COMPASSION, LOVE ,  AND  DEEDS OF SACRIFICE, SHALL  HELP TO OUTLIVE  THE TURBULENT NATURE OF MIND IN US, AND BRING CALMNESS,  TO  OUR 'LIVING'

MAYA IS A TERM  USED TO EXPLAIN 'MULTIPLICITY'  -  GOD SHINES IN VIDYA MAYA.
,MITYA AND BRAMAM  COME UNDER AVIDYA MAYA.

DEATH OCCURS WHEN PRARABDHA KARMA  AND SAMSKRITI  COME TO AN END ,AND WHEN THERE IS NO  MORE SCOPE FOR FURTHER EVOLUTION.

MAN BORN WITH SAMSKARAM (TENDENCIES CARRIED OVER FROM  PAST LIFE)  HAS SCOPE FOR EVOLUTION , ONLY  BY ACQUIRING  CULTURE. (SAMSKRITHY)  .   AS A RESULT OF INTERVENTION OF GOD 'S GRACE IN ONE'S SAMSKARAM . SAMSKRITHY  (GRACE) OPERATES.

RECEPTIVE ASPIRANTS GET GRACE IN THE EASY WAY, AND OTHERS IN A HARD WAY. BOTH  ARE  WITHIN GOD 'S KNOWLEDGE

WE SEE  GOD  PRINCIPLE OUTSIDE  IN 'DWAIDA',  WE OBSERVE  THE SAME WITHIN AND WITHOUT  IN  VISISHTADWAIDA,  AND  REALIZE  IT WITHOUT  DISTINCTION OF OUTSIDE AND INSIDE, IN ADWAIDA.

I AM THAT;  I AM  I;  AND 'I' -  INDICATE THE ABOVE TRUTH ;  AND THEY OPERATE  RESPECTIVELY  IN THE WORSHIP,  IN MEDITATION,  AND  IN SAMADHY/DEEP SLEEP STAGES.


" I " IS "BHODAM" AND "I AM" IS.  "EXPRESSION" ;  MIND, EGO, DUAL CONCEPTS, INTELLECT ETC., ARE REFLECTIONS/DEFLECTIONS OF "I AM".

"I AM" IS THE 'WITNESS'  OF THE REFLECTIONS/DEFLECTIONS;  "I" IS THE "KNOWER";  BEYOND IS "KNOWLEDGE".

KNOWER, WITNESS  AND WITNESSED,  REPRESENT RESPECTIVELY,  I -CONSCIOUSNESS, I AM,  AND MIND/INTELLECT/EGO.

 "BRAHMAN"  IS NEITHER KNOWER, NOR WITNESS, NOR WITNESSED    BRAHMAN  IS "KNOWLEDGE ".

THE KNOWER IS KNOWN IN KNOWLEDGE MEANS  -CONSCIOUSNESS
IS KNOWN  IN  AWARENESS -AWARENESS IS "LIGHT". AND CONSCIOUSNESS IS DAY-LIGHT. CONSCIOUSNESS IS THE EXPRESSION OF AWARENESS.

'I AM THAT', 'IAM I'  AND 'I'  ARE OUR OWN VISION AT DIFFERENT LEVELS OF ONE AND THE SAME TRUTH, OBSERVED OUTSIDE, OBSERVED WITHIN AND WITHOUT,  AND REALIZED  WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF 'IN' AND 'OUT'.

"I AM" IS THE WITNESS OF ITS REFLECTIONS - -(MIND, INTELLECT ETC.,);
"I CONSCIOUSNESS". IS THE "KNOWER" OF 'I AM '.  BEYOND "I" IS "KNOWLEDGE".


"I AM"  IS "JEEVA SAKSHY"  WITNESSING IT'S REFLECTION IN JEEVA AND B.M.I EQUIPMENT.  "I CONSCIOUSNESS" IS  "SARVASAKSHY" AS A "KNOWER" OF "I AM" AND IT'S REFLECTION.  "BEYOND"  SARVASAKSHY AND JEEVA SAKSHY.  IS "ABSOLUTE KNOWLEDGE".

"SIVOHAM"  IS SHORTENED AS "SOHAM" AND SOMETIMES  "HAMSOHAM";  IT IS SHORTENED  FURTHER TO "I AM", PROBABLY ON REALIZATION THAT 'IAM HAS " I  " IN IT.

  IT DOESN'T MATTER WHETHER THE 'MANTRA' IS SHORT OR LONG. REALIZE ONE TRUTH,  ERASING  ALL THOUGHTS ,  WITH THE MANTRA "I AM" - A COMBINATION OF "I " AND "AM".

IN SIMPLE TERM,  ABSOLUTE IS THE ONLY TRUTH,  AND ALL OTHERS ARE REFLECTIONS.  SILENCE IS THE ONLY LANGUAGE, AND ALL OTHERS ARE  'APPARENT VIBRATIONS'.

WATER IS THE ONLY SUBSTANCE.  OCEAN,  SEA OF WAVES, WAVE, WAVELET, FOAM, BUBBLE ETC., ETC.,.ARE DIFFERENTLY PERCEIVED, WITH NAMES AND FORMS, WITH TIME AND SPACE, WITH CAUSE AND EFFECT, ATTRACTION/REPULSION, LIKES/DISLIKES ETC
 

ERASE ALL THOUGHTS ,  WITH THE MANTRA "I AM" - A COMBINATION OF "I " AND "AM", AND REALIZE  "ABSOLUTE".


SINGLE CONCEPT  "I AM"  IS AVARANAM .  MULTIPLE  CONCEPTS  ARE 'VIKSHEPAM' ,  MISTAKING ONE FOR  THE  OTHER , IS  'BRAMAM'.

E.G., ROPE IS A CONCEPT,  SNAKE IS ANOTHER CONCEPT - THESE. MULTIPLE CONCEPTS  ARE CAUSED BY 'VIKSHEPAM'.  MISTAKING ROPE AS A SNAKE ,  AND  THE RESULTANT EMOTIONS, ARE KNOWN  AS  'BRAMAM'.

THE VERY APPEARANCE  OF " I -AM" ( PRIMARY CONCEPT), FOLLOWED BY MULTIPLE CONCEPTS  AND THE RESULTANT EMOTIONS, IS 'JAGATH'.

"PARAM" ,  "SATYAM" AND. "RITAM". ARE. THE THREE TERMS THOUGHTFULLY  COINED BY THE ANCIENT SAGES,  TO  INDICATE  ABSOLUTE,  I-CONSCIOUSNESS  AND  "I AM".


IT IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT TO CONTEMPLATE UPON THESE TERMS WITH 
  THE ANALOGY OF "WATER",  "OCEAN"  AND  "SEA WITH RHYTHMIC WAVES". 

A RHYTHMIC 'LIVING' WITH WISDOM KNOWLEDGE,  IS WHAT WE SHOULD ASPIRE FOR,  OUTLIVING  EMOTIONS AND EGO. 

"I-CONSCIOUSNESS"  (LIFE) SHINES IN  RHYTHMIC LIVING.  'LIFE'. AND 'LIVING'  ( 'I' AND 'I AM';  OCEAN AND THE RHYTHMIC WAVES, EXIST TOGETHER).

AGNANAM IS THE DISEASE AND ATMA VICHARAM IS THE MEDICINE.

VIKARAM, VICHARAM AND VIVEKAM   MEAN   EMOTIONAL CONFLICTS,  DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF THE ROOT CAUSE, AND WISDOM KNOWLEDGE  RESPECTIVELY.

GNANAM IS EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE,  VIGNANAM IS INTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE, SAMGNANAM IS WISDOM KNOWLEDGE.  PRAGNANAM IS SUPREME KNOWLEDGE.


I CONSCIOUSNESS IS THE 'LIFE'. AND 'I AM'  IS THE 'LIVING'  - TWO ASPECTS OF THE 'ABSOLUTE'.  (ANALOGY:OCEAN AND WAVES ARE THE TWO ASPECTS OF WATER)
