DO NOT BELITTLE THE OBJECTIVE WORLD IN PREFERENCE TO SUBJECTIVE REALITY. FIND OUT THE UNITY OF BOTH, AND REALIZE THE UNITING FACTOR.


MIND IS PRESENT IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD. GOD IS EVER PRESENT EVEN IN THE ABSENCE OF MIND.

'AZHIYUM, THIRAYM KATTUM, AZHAMUM' (OCEAN, WAVES, WIND AND DEPTH OF THE OCEAN) ARE TAKEN AS AN ANALOGY TO EXPLAIN THE 'I CONSCIOUSNESS', VISWAM, MAYA AND THE ABSOLUTE.


THE MANTRA "ALWAYS BE CHEERFUL AND NEVER ALLOW YOUR MIND TO BE MISERABLE', IS GOOD INDEED, SIMPLE ENOUGH TO REMEMBER, BUT DIFFICULT TO PRACTICE.


THE MOVEMENT OF THE MIND IN THE SPHERE OF PLEASURE/PAIN, LIKES/DISLIKES, IS HORIZONTAL, WHEREAS, THE MOVEMENT OF GNANAM, VIGNANAM AND SAMGNANAM, (THE MOVEMENT OF THE INTELLECT), IS VERTICAL, IN THE ASCENDING ORDER. PROBABLY THE HOLY CROSS OF CHRISTIANITY IS SYMBOLIC OF THIS.


LIFE-LIVING RELATIONSHIP CAN BE UNDERSTOOD, ONLY WHEN THE TRUTH HIDDEN IN THEM, IS REALIZED. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE WAVES AND THE OCEAN, IS UNDERSTOOD ONLY ON THE REALIZATION OF WATER HIDDEN IN BOTH. THE HIGHEST TRUTH ONLY EXPRESSES 'LIFE', AND BRINGS OUT THE APPEARANCE OF 'LIVING'.


ENERGY CANNOT BE DESTROYED. AT BEST, ONE FORM OF ENERGY CAN BE CONVERTED INTO ANOTHER FORM.


IT IS PURE ENERGY THAT EXPRESSES AS CONSCIOUS ENERGY AND COSMIC ENERGY. WE NAME ONE AS 'LIFE' AND THE OTHER AS 'LIVING'.


WITHOUT 'LIFE' THERE IS NO 'LIVING'. AT THE SAME TIME 'LIFE' NEEDS 'LIVING' FOR ITS EXPRESSION. SO ALSO, 'LIVING' CANNOT EXPRESS BY ITSELF.  AWARENESS OF THE HIGHEST TRUTH HIDDEN IN BOTH 'LIFE' AND 'LIVING' IS  KNOWN  AS 'ENLIGHTENMENT.'


IT IS 'UNDERSTANDING' THAT REVEALS THE NON-DUAL TRUTH BEHIND THE DUAL EXPRESSION OF 'LIFE' AND 'LIVING'.


SIVA-SAKTHY, ARTHANAREESWARA, RADHAKRISHNA, VISHNU-LAKSHMI ALL THESE PAIRS ARE SYMBOLIC OF THE ONENESS OF LIFE AND LIVING. SADASHIVA AND MAHAVISHNU ARE CONSIDERED AS THE ULTIMATE TRUTH BY SAIVITES AND VAISHNAVITES RESPECTIVELY.

SRI KRISHNA TRANSFORMED KAMA INTO PREMA FOR THE GOPIES. KRISHNA STEPPED DOWN FROM THE LEVEL OF 'I-CONSCIOUSNESS', AND MADE APPEARANCE IN THIS UNIVERSE OF DUAL CONCEPTS. HE SET AN EXAMPLE OF HOW THE HUMAN BEINGS COULD RAISE TO THE LEVEL OF 'YOGESWARA' BY LIVING A LIFE OF 'SAMATWAM' (EQUANIMITY) IN THE MIDST OF APPARENT CONFLICTS OF CONCEPTS AND EMOTIONS.


SRI KRISHNA IS THE EXPRESSION OF SUPREME - PARAM. HE NEVER FELT HIMSELF AS AN 'INDIVIDUAL' NOR THE FEELING OF 'INDIVIDUALITY' (EGO SENSE) TOUCHED HIM.


DO NOT BELITTLE THE OBJECTIVE WORLD IN PREFERENCE TO THE SUBJECTIVE SELF. FIND OUT THE UNITY OF BOTH, PLACING THEM IN PROPER PERSPECTIVE.





THE KNOWLEDGE OF "I" IS SUDDHA VIDYA, AND THE FEELING OF "MINE" IS ASUDDHA VIDYA.

WHAT I BREATHE IN, IS 'PRANA' (LIFE-FORCE - CONSCIOUS ENERGY), AND WHAT I BREATHE OUT IS EXPRESSED AS  COSMIC ENERGY. MEDITATION OF 'I' AND 'I AM' CONNECTING  LIFE AND LIVING- IS THE PRACTICAL METHOD OF 'PRANAYAMAM.'

DON'T BE A SLAVE TO THE APPARENT DUAL CONCEPTS, CONFLICTING IN APPEARANCE, LIKE SPIRIT-MATTER, DAY-NIGHT, BIRTH-DEATH, MALE-FEMALE, GOOD-BAD, SMALL,BIG, KNOWLEDGE-IGNORANCE, AND EMOTIONS LIKE ATTRACTION-REPULSION, PLEASURE-PAIN, LOVE-HATRED.


THE VERY THOUGHT OF ISHWARA,  IN ITS TRUE SENSE, IS   "SAMARPANAM".( 'I AM' SURRENDERING TO 'I CONSCIOUSNESS)




AS THE MIND EXPANDS, IT BECOMES NO-MIND LIKE THE UNLIMITED SKY. ONLY THE EXPANDED MIND CAN EXHIBIT 'PRASADA BUDDHY' - ACCEPTING ALL EVENTS AND ALSO THE RESPECTIVE ATTITUDE, AS 'ISHWARA PRASADAM.


BHAKTHY AND GNANA SHOULD GO TOGETHER; OTHERWISE, EACH ONE WOULD   REMAIN IN AVIDYA MAYA, AS PARTIAL CIRCLE, WITHOUT COMPLETING THE FULL CIRCLE OF WISDOM-KNOWLEDGE. THE FULL CIRCLE EXPRESSES 'HAPPINESS'.


TRUE BHAKTHY FUNCTIONS AS A CATALYST TO CONNECT KARMA AND GNANAM WITH 'I CONSCIOUSNESS'.


NATURE (PRAKRITHY) IS FULL OF POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE THOUGHTS. GOD IS THE 'LIGHT' WHEN THE TWO POLES (POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE) ARE CONNECTED THROUGH i.e., WHEN AN ATTITUDE OF EQUANIMITY (SAMADARSHANAM) IS DEVELOPED IN ALL HAPPENINGS.


BHAKTHY' IS 'ANUSANDANAM'. THIS CONTEMPLATION MAY BE OUT OF FEAR (AS IN THE CASE OF KAMSA), OUT OF HATRED (LIKE SISUPALAN) OR OUT OF PREMAM (LIKE GOPIES).


KARMA AND GNANA BECOMES KARMA YOGA AND GNANA YOGA, BY SACRIFICING THE INDIVIDUALITY OF DOERSHIP AND ENJOYERSHIP.



PRAKRITHY SEEMS IMPERFECT WHEN VIEWED IN ISOLATION. WHEN CONNECTED TO THE SUPREME REALITY, WE REALIZE THAT IT IS PERFECT, PURUSHA AND PRAKRITHY, TOGETHER SYNTHESIZED WITH THE SUPREME.


'ATMEEYADHA' IS NOTHING BUT SELF-OBSERVATION.


THE MORE YOU BECOME SPIRITUAL, THE MORE YOU GAIN ATMA-SAKTHY.


MAN IS IN PEACE, WHEN HE HAS FULL TRUST  IN ATMA-CHAITANYAM.


THE THIRST FOR GOD IS 'BHAKTHY'. IT PROCEEDS THROUGH FAITH AND BELIEF, AND ATTAINS FULFILLMENT IN TRUST.


YOU HAVE TRUST THAT THERE IS OXYGEN IN THE ATMOSPHERE, WHICH YOU BREATHE, TILL THE 'LIFE' LASTS. SIMILAR TRUST IS WHAT IS DESIRED, TOWARDS GOD. FAITH AND BELIEF ARE ACCOMMODATED IN TRUST.

SO LONG AS MIND IS THERE, ATMA HAS TO BE VIEWED AS 'SAKSHY'. ONCE MIND DISAPPEARS, SAKSHYBHAVAM GOES OUT, AND 'SUDDHA BODAM' SHINES.

KARMA WON'T UPLIFT YOUR MIND'. SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS HELP YOU. THE MORE YOU BECOME SPIRITUAL, THE MORE YOU HAVE 'ATMASAKTHY'(MENTAL MATURITY)



FIVE ELEMENTS ARE UNIVERSAL; BUT THE MIND IS CONFINED TO THE INDIVIDUAL. EXPAND THE MIND TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR MIND AS WELL AS THE MINDS OF OTHERS.


JEEVA - A REFLECTION OF 'I-CONSCIOUSNESS, HAS NECESSARILY TO FOLLOW THE MODE OF PRAKRITHY i.e., WHEEL OF TIME (KALA-CHAKRAM), KARMA AND GUNA MANDALAM.

IN EVERY BREATH ONE SHOULD CONTEMPLATIVELY REMEMBER THAT IT IS 'INFINITE' (SHANTI) THAT ENTERS AS 'PRANA', AND EXPRESSES HAPPINESS IN ITS EXIT . THIS ANUSANDANAM SHALL LEAD TO ANUBOODHY (AWAREMESS).



JEEVA ('I AM AN INDIVIDUAL' ) IS A REFLECTION OF 'I-AM'. AN INDIVIDUAL HAS TO FOLLOW THE MODE OF PRAKRITHY WHICH COMPRISES OF KALA CHAKRAM, GUNA MANDALAM AND KARMA MANDALAM. PRAKRITHY IS VIDYA-MAYA, WHEREAS, 'I AM AN INDIVIDUAL' IS AVIDYA MAYA.


OUR THIRST FOR GOD IS 'BHAKTHY'. AN INDIVIDUAL ASPIRES TO JOIN THE UNIVERSAL.  'KARMA' AND 'GNANA', GET THE STATUS OF KARMA- YOGA, AND GNANA - YOGA, WHEN PURSUED WITH BHAKTHY.


MAN IS IN PEACE, WHEN HE HAS FULL TRUST, IN 'ATMA-CHAITANYAM.


CALMNESS, NO EXPECTATION, NO COMPLAINTS, AND CONTROL OVER SENSES - THESE ARE THE QUALITIES OF 'PRASANTATMA'


NONE CAN STOP 'KARMAGATHI' BECAUSE IT IS SELF-MADE.


'ATMEEYATHA' IS NOTHING BUT SELF-OBSERVATION.


BHAKTHY IS NOT A MERE EXERCISE OF THE TONGUE, NOR THAT OF THE MIND. IT IS  DEVELOPED THROUGH BODY-MIND-INTELLECT.



IN THE BEGINNING, WE BELIEVE THAT 'LIVING' ALONE IS REAL. LATER, WE UNDERSTAND THAT 'LIFE' IS REAL AND 'LIVING' IS A SHADOW. FINALLY, WE REALIZE THAT BOTH LIFE AND LIVING, HAVE A HIGHER TRUTH.. LIFE IS THE EXPRESSION, AND LIVING IS THE APPEARANCE OF THAT 'ABSOLUTE.

IT IS THE 'AGNANAM' THAT SEEKS AN OUTSIDE GURU. GURU IS EQUALLY IMMERSED IN AGNANAM, IF HE DESIRES FOR MORE AND MORE DISCIPLES TO IMPART HIS KNOWLEDGE. TRUTH  IS ABOVE THIS KNOWLEDGE. TRUTH IS 'SILENCE'. TRUTH IS 'PEACE'. TRUTH IS 'SHANTI'. TRUTH IS AWARENESS. TRUTH IS ABSOLUTE. TRUTH    IS 'ONE' NOT TWO. TRUTH   IS 'PRESENCE'.


AN EARNEST SEEKER OF PURE KNOWLEDGE - CHIT, SHOULD NOT EVALUATE THE GURU, NOR THE GURU SHOULD ENTERTAIN EVEN A TINGE OF EGO.


GOD DIRECTS YOU TOWARDS HIM. MIND INTERFERES AND DISTRACTS YOU. MIND IS SUBORDINATE, AND GOD IS THE MASTER OF YOURSELF. ALWAYS GO BY THE DIRECTION OF GOD. COMMAND THE MIND, TO OBEY GOD WHO IS MASTER OF YOURSELF, AS WELL AS THE MIND.


AS WE COME INTO   'SENSE   OF   EXISTENCE', WE LEAVE GOD BEHIND, NEVER ALLOW HIM TO COME IN FRONT, AND GUIDE US. ULTIMATELY GOD ABSORBS US, WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT,    SIMILAR   TO   OCEAN   ABSORBING    THE   WAVE.


'PLEASURE' IS LIKE A COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY, WHICH LANDS YOU ONLY IN TROUBLE. 'ENJOYMENT' IS LIKE A PHOTOSTAT OF THE GENUINE, WHICH SERVES ONLY IN THE PLAY OF THE CHILDREN. SOILED CURRENCY IS SIMILAR TO EGO, WHICH BRINGS ONLY ARGUMENTS AND CONSEQUENT REPULSION. GENUINE CURRENCY IS HAPPINESS WE SHOULD ASPIRE FOR.


'MRITHYU, BY ITSELF, CANNOT TAKE AWAY THE LIFE OF A PERSON. EACH ONE'S KARMA LANDS HIM TO THE HANDS OF 'MRITHYU.


WHEN THE MIND IS IN PEACE, SILENCE PREVAILS. PEACE AND SILENCE GO TOGETHER.





'INDIVIDUAL - EGO' MAKES ONE SMALL AND NARROW MINDED.


SUBJECT AND OBJECTS BRING IN A FEELING OF SEPARATENESS, WHICH IN TURN, PRODUCES FEAR AND ANXIETY.


ABSORBING THE ENTIRE COSMOS WITHIN 'I AM', HAS MORE TRUTH THAN PROJECTING THE COSMOS OUTSIDE 'I AM'.

OBJECTS ARE PROJECTED WHEN 'IGNORANCE' SETS IN.





'KNOWLEDGE' IS 'GURU', NOT NECESSARILY, GURU SHOULD BE AN INDIVIDUAL. 21 GURUS INCLUDING HONEY-BEE, SKY AND SNAKE ARE EXPLAINED TO SHRI UDDHAVA..


REBELS DON'T BELIEVE IN A BEATEN PATH. ACCEPT THEM ALSO IN OUR JOURNEY TOWARDS TRUTH.


IN EVERY BREATH, PEACE AND HAPPINESS   (I   AND   I-AM)  ARE PRESENT.  WE ARE NOT,   HOWEVER,    AWARE OF IT.'


STOP TALKING; IF IT IS A 'MUST', TALK LESS. "SILENCE" IS GOLDEN.


DON'T GO AFTER DAINTY DISHES. CONTROL THE TONGUE.


IMPULSE AND INSTINCT ARE AMONG  OTHER  FACTORS BEHIND ALL OUR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS. ANALYSE AND REGULATE THEM THROUGH INTELLECT. ATTRACTION TOWARDS SEX, FEELING OF HUNGER, SELF-PROTECTION, AND UP-BRINGING OF CHILDREN, ARE SOME OF THE EXPRESSIONS, CAUSED BY IMPULSE AND INSTINCT.


THE NET CREATED BY THE MIND IS SIMILAR TO SPIDER'S NET. SPIDER IS UNTOUCHED BY ITS OWN NET, AND IT SERVES THE SPIDER IN ITS LIMITED PURPOSE OF 'LIVING'. BUT HUMAN MIND FEELS AS IF IT IS ENTANGLED IN ITS OWN NET.


THE SENSE OF EXISTENCE, THE BODY-CONSCIOUSNESS, AND THE MIND AND INTELLECT, ARE THE PROJECTIONS OF 'BHODAM' (CONSCIOUSNESS) ONLY.


PEACE AND HAPPINESS ARE SIMILAR TO 'LIGHT' AND 'DAY-LIGHT   (I   AND   I-AM)


GUILTY CONSCIENCE HAS ITS ROLE, ONLY ON THE SURFACE .  'SELF' IS UNTOUCHED BY GUILT.


'DOING' AND 'NON-DOING' ARE NOT  AT  MY WILL. THERE IS NO 'INDIVIDUAL WILL'. IT IS THE 'CONSCIOUS WILL' i.e., SANKALPAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS, THAT DETERMINES EACH INDIVIDUAL WILL, TO ACT OR NOT TO ACT. ( DOES IT LEAD TO DETERMINISM? CALL IT BY ANY NAME. IT HAPPENS.)


GET RID OF CONCEPTS, IF YOU CAN. WHAT REMAINS THEREAFTER, IS 'PEACE   (OCEAN   WITHOUT   WAVES)


DEEP SLEEP CANNOT BE EXPERIENCED, NOR CAN BE EXPLAINED IN THAT STATE. ONLY IN WAKING STAGE, WE TALK OF DEEP SLEEP, AND BRING IN MANY CONCEPTS.


'GOD' IS NOT CONFINED TO A NAME AND FORM. HE IS  CONSCIOUS ENERGY - IN EVERYONE WITHIN AND WITHOUT.


MIND WITHOUT THOUGHTS, IS GOD. GOD WITH THOUGHTS, IS MIND. THERE IS NO CHANGE FOR GOD.   THE    MIND, AT THE SAME TIME, APPEARS  AND DISAPPEARS LIKE     THE   WAVES   IN   THE   OCEAN.



WAKING AND DREAM REPRESENT APPARENT LIVING, AND DEEP SLEEP REPRESENTS LIFE.


THROUGHOUT 'LIVING', ACT WITH ATTENTIVENESS ('SRADDHA'), EFFICIENCY IN ACTION (KOWSALAM), AND HAPPINESS (AANANDAM) IN MIND, AND BE CONTEMPLATIVELY AWARE OF 'LIFE CONSCIOUSNESS' WHICH IS THE BASE FOR THE LIVING.


THERE IS NO SUCH STAGE AS 'THOUGHTLESS MIND'. MIND CEASES TO EXIST WHEN THOUGHTS ARE GONE.


KALAM, KARMAM, AND GUNAM COME UNDER THE CATEGORY 'I-AM' AND 'BHODAM' IS CONSCIOUSNESS.


" MOWNAM"  IS BEYOND THE STAGE OF BHALYAM AND PANDITYAM. MOWNAM DENOTES WISDOM KNOWLEDGE, AND THE OTHER TWO ARE THE FUNCTIONING OF MIND AND INTELLECT.


SASTRAS  DO  HELP US TO UNDERSTAND THE FUNCTIONS OF TIME AND SPACE, AND NAME AND FORM, WHEREAS,  TRUTH, THE BASIS FOR ALL THESE, REVEALS BY ITSELF. THIS REVELATION IS DIVINE GRACE.


DHARMA AND ADHARMA ARE AT THE MENTAL LEVEL. CONCEPTS OF PUNYA AND PAPA, AND DHARMA AND ADHARMA, DID NOT TOUCH  SRI KRISHNA. HE WAS 'YOGESHWARA', AND HE PREACHED 'SAMADHARSHANA, (EQUANIMITY OF VISION)', AND SET AN EXAMPLE OF LIVING, WITH A UNIFIED VISION.

THE EVOLUTIONARY CYCLE PASSES THROUGH IMPULSE, INSTINCT, MIND AND INTELLECT. FINALLY, IT ENDS UP IN CONSCIOUSNESS. THE MOVEMENT IS SLOW AND STEADY, AND THE PATH IS KNOWN AS 'WHEEL OF TIME'. THE CYCLE NEED NOT GET COMPLETED, IN A LIFE SPAN; IT HAS TO PASS THROUGH MANY 'SO CALLED BIRTHS AND DEATHS'.  BEFORE  THE CYCLE MERGES WITH 'CONSCIOUSNESS'.


DHYANA AND ANUBHAVA ARE IN 'DWAIDA' STAGE, AND 'ANUBOODHY' IS 'ADWAIDA'. IN THE FORMER STAGE, MIND EXISTS, AND IN ANUBOODHY, 'NO MIND', AND ONLY PEACE - 'SHANTI' PREVAILS.
